HEART-TO-HEART

Kali ini, mau masukkin postingan sahabat saya. Gadis ini tinggal di Eropa. Dia mohon bantuan tentang kisah asmaranya. saya ga bisa kasih nasehat banyak sehingga saya mohon bantuan teman-teman untuk bantu dia juga. Here's the story goes: 

This guy is my friend. I know him for about 3 months. We get a long pretty well and we used to be in one band. To be honest, I do like him. But I don't know if it's a good idea because I just don't understand him.

(FYI: Both of us are 19 years old. Mature enough, right?)

One day, we had this 'friends gathering and games night' at a friend's house. One day before that event, he asked me 'are you going tomorrow?' I didn't say anything but I asked him back 'are you?'. He said 'Idk, I should...cz it's not far away from my place.'

So I went to that gathering and he was there. We made Sushi for dinner and he asked me to help/teach him how to make Sushi. He was complimenting me (really loud like a dork) for helping him make Sushi. For the whole 'making-sushi' and dinner time, he was sitting next to me. That 'Sushi' moment was kinda cute. At the time we were playing board-game, he compliments me again (e.g "whoa...ur good!) and there is one time where he repeated my answer although it was obviously 'wrong'. =.=" (dork!)

The next couple of days...he just act normal to me...like a normal friend, but sometimes, he sat/stand next to me, but he didn't say a word. I tried to be nice and asked him simple question, he just smiled and gave a short but nice respond.

One day on our way home (there was me, him and another friend), as we get out the train, he asked me what do I take next and if I'm going to take this or that bus. I told him that there's only one bus to take me home.

Another day, on our way home (there were just me and him) he asked me again. "Can you walk home?! Is it far away? How long does it take when you walk home?" I told him that it only take 10 minutes and so on. He didn't say anything but keep walk in front of me. When I say 'Bye2 n take care!' he only smiled but he didn't look at me and just walk away.

Last night, at the New Year party, I preformed a drama ( I was the main-female character). I saw him standing on the back while the other audience were sitting down (he looked excited, kinda). There's one scene where the main-male character poked my chin and say 'I do love her' as a part of the scenario. After that, I didn't see him standing anymore. He sat down, busy with his phone! (I know...this sounds stupid. It's just a play, right?!).

Before we go home (after the party), I was talking to his friend... (a girl) where he suddenly appear and asked her "where's your phone?" and then he said "I have a good idea...you should stay at his place (while pointing on his best friend), because it's gonna be dangerous walking alone home since it's New Year and everyone will be drunk and blablabla. I'll walk you there." He looked at me, didn't say a word, talked back to her and left. I just stand there and pretend that I'm busy with my bag, but being honest (I'm kinda jealous).

So, is he playing with me or what? or is he only trying to be nice at me?

My answer: 

First of all, 19 isn't that 'mature' enough. Sorry to say, but mature is for the people who can breadwinning him/her-self (that's what I read on the inet). Person like YOU, in US, is still called 'teenager' and ME as an adolescent. So now will we talk as a Germany (for you live there), US (as we used this language), or Indonesians (since we're Indonesians and also.. Bataknese)? 

Based on my experiences, the Boy was not loving you as bf-gf thing but as bestfriends. He felt comfort to be with you. He wanted you to be care to him as he was to you. Maybe for you this is stupid, but as a Girl we have to be 'TEGAS', ask him that how the relationship you both want to go. It's for you and his sake, anyway. 

If there's no good-time to talk with him face-to-face, call him. You already got his cellphone numer, right? You may chit-chat for a moment, remembering the past moments you had, bla-bla-bla then go to main point. Be brave.
